Dear Arizona Activists,
The Senate will vote on the Schumer-Rubio-Obama Amnesty bill on Tuesday, June 11th at 2:15 p.m. Your two Senators, Jeff Flake and John McCain, helped draft the more than 1,000-page legislation.
Since the Gang of Eight first unveiled details of their agreement in January, Senators Flake and McCain have continued to ignore their constituents in Arizona. Now with the initial vote just days away, it's a good time to call both Senators and let them know how Arizonans feel!
The Judiciary Committee with the help of Sen. Flake, made it clear that this bill will provide amnesty/work permits to 11 million illegal aliens before any new enforcement -- and will issue 33 million work permits to foreign citizens over the first ten years -- there is no need for more debate to know it is time to just kill the bill.
Furthermore, while the Gang defends the border security provisions in their bill, it gives total discretion over the border to the Department of Homeland Security, and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano has made it clear she thinks the border is secure.
Call Sens. Flake & McCain |
Calling is easy! Use the toll-free number we've provided below that will connect you to the Capitol Switchboard. Ask to be connected to either Sen. Flake or Sen. McCain's office. When the staffer answers, tell him/her that this bill is terrible for Arizona and you want them to drop their support of the legislation immediately. Urge them to vote NO on the motion to proceed on Tuesday.
