On Wednesday August 7, 2013 at approximately 6:40 AM members of the newly formed S.A.B.R.E. (Southerastern Arizona Border Region Enforcement Team) conducted a traffic stop on a 1990 recreational vehicle on Sibyl Road and Highway 80 near St. David.
The investigators discovered that the vehicle was transporting 462 pounds of marijuana and the driver was arrested and booked
The investigators discovered that the vehicle was transporting 462 pounds of marijuana and the driver was arrested and booked
into the Cochise County Jail, while the vehicle was impounded. The driver, 49 year old Cynthia Leroux of California, was charged
with one count of Transporation of Marijuana and two counts of Possession of Marijuana. The investigation is being continued by
the SABRE team.
