Messages sent to Sen. Flake and Border Patrol via Homeland Security 2013

CONTACT:   ARIZONA SENATOR JEFF FLAKE - MARCH 25, 2013

(In wiring this chapter, the author contacted Arizona Senator Jeff Flake with a list of questions asking for a response and told that responses would be published):

Contact:  Julie Katsel at Senator Jeff Flake's office Washington, D.C.

March 25 2013

Hello Julie,

I got your email from Sue Krentz, Douglas Arizona rancher.  I am including some of the Western ranchers in my upcoming book.   I have four published books on Florida Pioneer “cow hunters” (see web page www.nancydalephd.com for my credentials and book info).

(I contacted Mr. Flake by phone when he was attending hearings in Douglas, Arizona.  I left a message with an aide requesting information regarding the status quo of the border and solutions.  I did not receive a call back from his office with a response.)

THE REQUEST:

I am looking to have an official statement(s) from Representatives/Senators of the Douglas area in regard to current 2013 data on how U.S. citizens are protected who live along the border, what laws, technologies are in place in 2013?  The statements will be published in my book.  I am looking for status quo laws; a prediction about future legislation is just that, “predictions” not fact.  I would appreciate an official comment at your earliest convenience.

EMAIL RESPONSE:

Best

Genevieve Rozansky (Press Secretary)

Thank you for your interest in the United States Border Patrol.

John Harmon
